Are our practices open to reporters? I know they got to watch a portion of the first one, but if they aren't getting to see daily activities or talk to Oats, there's not much to write about.
If the practices are open and they're just ignoring it, then we attack with pitchforks.

Nope. Press release said no tv or radio. Only way to watch it is go. Tickets are already on sale for $5

That wasn't a very good Ga tech team last year. Not sure what they had coming back but we'd better whoop that arse. Everyone laughed at me and made light when we got bitch slapped in our own exhibition game last year. Was it Jax that did it? Said I was making too much of that game along with some other posters that went "uh-oh!"

Auburn lost an exhibition game to a D2 team in 2017 and went on to win the SEC.
Even though the Bama season crashed and burned, you still shouldn’t try to read anything from exhibition games.

I may be totally wrong here but I'd bet Auburn didn't lose that game by double digits. We did. Stunk up the joint. You use those games to work on stuff and only one side is playing to win, I get that. But even when you are just scrimmaging, you should be good enough that a team that should be overmatched has to play well just to win the game, not blow you out of your own gym. It was a sign of things to come; typical Avery lack of effort.

It doesn’t matter what they lost by. Losing to a D-2 school is much worse than getting whooped by a bad high-major team. It just shows how worthless exhibition games are when trying to predict team success. Neither game really indicated what kind of season their team had coming.
