Seems like most folks think he is. I’d be all for it.

Alabama hosted Top-50 junior Joshua Primo for an official visit this past weekend, a source told @Stockrisers. The Tide secured first OV for the Canadian guard out of Arizona.

Need Keon to recruit the hell out of his Canadian National teammates.

I was told that Alabama head coach Nate Oats was very excited to see sophomore point guard Chandler Jackson (Christian Brothers) for the first time over the weekend in Hoover, Alabama, so the offer shouldn’t come as a surprise.

At 6-foot-4, Jackson is a handful.

I didn't see it widely mentioned, but Josh Primo was not the only visitor in town. Tide signee and fellow Canada U19 team member Keon Ambrose-Hylton was also in Tuscaloosa for a visit.

Marquette isn't done trying to add to its 2020 recruiting class.

Karim Mane, a highly regarded combo guard from Montreal is taking an official visit to MU this weekend. He took an official visit to Maryland last year and is also being pursued by several schools including DePaul, Alabama and Michigan State.

quote:

Already 19 years old, Mane is eligible for the 2020 NBA draft and scouts are intrigued by his physical talent.

But he seems likely to attend college to improve his feel for the game.

"He's aware it's there," Hertzog said of entering the draft. "I don't think any of us are taking that as a serious option right now.

"The plan has been, and continues to be, going to a really good NCAA program. His goal ultimately, yes, is to go to the NBA. Like anything else, he's going to take the time and effort needed so that's ready when he does get there."

ESPN has Mane as a first-round pick in its latest mock draft. Most other draft sites peg him as a second-round selection.

quote:

MU head coach Steve Wojciechowski has been to Montreal twice to meet with Mane, and Golden Eagles assistant coaches have seen the guard play.

"He seems excited about (his visit to MU) and very interested," Hertzog said. "He'll see what he sees. A lot of it is when you're there and your feel for the place and the people.

"The situation that's there is a very intriguing one. But he's got to feel comfortable and feel 'Yeah, that's the place I want to be.' "

Hertzog said Mane has studied how MU plays and likes the Golden Eagles' offensive style.

This evening, Top-50 senior Karim Mane will arrive Milwaukee for his official visit to Marquette. Big visit for Wojo and his staff. This is currently the only planned official for Mane who’s also projected to be selected in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Dallan ‘Deebo’ Coleman is ranked amongst the Top-40 juniors in the country by multiple outlets. Coleman is originally from the Memphis area but now plays his high school ball at Nassau County in Florida.

With Coleman being from Memphis, Penny Hardaway and his staff made sure they’d start prioritizing the guard and that meant hosting him for a recent unofficial visit on December 28th. He’s leave that visit with an offer.

“My visit to Memphis went well. The treated me with hospitality,” Coleman told Stockrisers.com

In addition, he got to watch a practice and a game. He enjoyed both and even pointed out how he’s impressed with the way they broke down the bigs and the guards during practice. Also loved the ‘NBA-styles warmups’ that they did prior to game.

As for his recruitment, he’s being targeted by many programs varying from the SEC to the Big-12 to the ACC and so on.

Coleman says that he plans on taking official visits to Alabama, Oklahoma State, Memphis and Iowa State during the spring. He’s visited both Alabama and Memphis of the official capacity and both schools have prioritized him, leading to potential official visit come spring.

A new program is also involved for Coleman as he says that Louisville has reached out to him and will begin recruiting him hard.

Bediako looks the part of one of the best shot blockers and rebounders in America. Alabama bound Keon Androse-Hylton was good. High energy finisher with greatest defensive tools

23 points (10-19 FG) from Alabama commit 2020 F Keon Ambrose (@KeonAmbrose) of ISA (OH) in a win today at the Cancer Research Classic. Will bring length, athleticism, scoring, and rebounding to Alabama next season. Solid pick up @isa_basketball.

A tall guy who can run and jump. Someone who can protect the rim on the defensive end but also not fall victim to the Bama layup curse on offense because he's just dunking the ball that close to the basket.

We don't really have that right now.

Yeah, we still lack that clutch, big dawg, alpha male, who will put a team on his back in close, down to the wire big games.
