Alabama will have an assistant in today checking out Four-star junior Dallan ‘Deebo’ Coleman, a source told @Stockrisers. He visited Alabama this past season.

Jet just made a short trip to Akron. I'd speculate they may be visiting 2021 Malaki Branham.

Oats has a system and he knows who fits it. Stars don’t many anything in College Basketball, it’s all about who fits your system.

Kentucky, who signs 5-Stars up and down the roster consistently, has 9 National Championships.

Duke, who signs 5-Stars up and down the roster consistently, has 5 National Championships.

North Carolina, who signs 5-Stars up and down the roster consistently, has 5 National Championships.

Alabama, who signs a 5-Star Once in a blue moon, but normally has 3 & 4 stars on the roster, has 0 National Championships.

Cool theory bro...you sound like a South Carolina football fan...who also has 0 National Championships.

UK didn't win most of their NCs with five stars. They had superior coaching and a system. Now if you want to argue Pat Riley being a top NBA 50 talent then go ahead.

Outside of Grant Hill, Coach K won those two NCs b/c he had players that fit his system. Sons of coaches with high bball IQs and shot the 3 on the reg. UNC's last NC wasn't that star-studed (Roy had to recruit under ncaa cloud).

Let's overlook Butler going back to back finals (losing to a talentless Duke squad) b/c they had a roster full of gym rats (and NBAer whose name escapes me). Florida won back to back NCs with mainly 4 stars.

When it comes to winning NCs with five stars, UK and Duke have done it a few times. Everyone else had the right chemistry and leadership. Maryland of early aughts come to mind and went toe to toe with Duke's team of Jay Williams and Shane Battier.

Tell me how many 5* Auburn had on their team last year??.......1(Austin Wiley) and he came off the bench. Tell me how many 5* Pearl had at Tennessee??? 2(Scotty Hopson and Tobias Harris)

Pearl has a system and he gets who fits it and it works. Oats has a system and he will get who fits it.

5 stars obviously help but at a non Blueblood, which we are, give me a guy who has a system and knows how to recruit guys who fit it.

I'd prefer to sign 5-stars, but basketball isn't football. Just look at the teams who have consistently gone to the NCAAT and also made it to the Elite 8/Final Four in the last 10 years.

Basketball is MUCH more about fit and system and players that fit those than football. It's not even close.

Avery would have led a team full of 5 stars, to 9th place in the SEC and getting punting from the NIT in the first round

Oats and Hodgson are going to eventually land one of these guys. Just takes some time to establish an identity and get guys to buy into your program. Avery was able to sell his NBA experience, which is why he got some of the guys he did.

This says Oats has over 300+ plays, which should have us excited. If he can take Kira's game to the next level, guys are going to start showing more interest.
