Ive seen rumblings of some thinking he never goes to college and goes overseas and plays. If he does go to college we have a shot. I’d say Louisville are the team to beat and we are probably second from what I’ve seen.

On Sept. 27, five-star guard Nimari Burnett will take an official visit to Alabama. Burnett counts the likes of Louisville, Michigan, Arizona, Auburn among his offers. He landed his Tide offer on April 17 when the staff visited Prolific Prep to meet with Burnett.
Next up, Burnett’s high school and AAU teammate, Jalen Green. A top-five 2020 prospect landed his Alabama offer in mid-April, as well, and has told several people that he will likely take a visit to Alabama.
Dior Johnson, the 2022 guard, was one of the first prospects in his class to land an offer from Nate Oats. Johnson’s first offer, in middle school, was from Buffalo. In talking with Johnson, he has heavy interest in 'Bama and it is mutual with the staff. They aren’t able to contact him but can speak with his coaches.
Earl Timberlake, the five-star guard out of Dematha in the DMV, landed his Alabama offer on April 28. The staff has seen him play on multiple occasions, including this week, and he has shown interest in potentially taking a visit to Alabama at some point.

@theblakelovell
Not gonna lie would be pretty disappointed with Iowa State mainly because of us probably playing them in the Bahamas

Stumbled across this article from Busting Brackets where they ranked all the teams in the Battle 4 Atlantis. It's just some more off-season fodder, but it's interesting to see the predictions. LINK
If you don't want to read through it, here's the rundown.
1. Seton Hall
2. North Carolina
3. Gonzaga
4. Oregon
5. Alabama
6. Michigan
7. Iowa State
8. Southern Miss
And this is what they had to say in regards to Alabama.

And this is what they had to say in regards to Alabama.

"Alabama is the wild card in this field and, really, is one of the biggest wild card teams in the country.
They have talent – Kira Lewis Jr. and John Petty are one of the SEC’s best backcourts and Herbert Jones is an elite defender – but this group failed to make the NCAA Tournament last year and hasn’t had a winning record in the SEC each of the last two years.
Former head coach Avery Johnson received a lot of the blame for that and new head man Nate Oats has brought new life into a program. He was extremely successful at Buffalo and has a reputation for developing quality guards. With that trio and West Virginia grad transfer Beetle Bolden joining the fold, the Tide appear to have top 25 potential.
But was the problem really Johnson, or is this group of players being overvalued? And how quickly can Oats get this group playing at a high level? We’ll get our answers in the Bahamas."

It would have been nice to see what a legit S&C coach could have done with Hall. Having a bum like Ponytail in charge really held him back from becoming a more complete defender.

It’s safe to say that Alabama Fusion’s Colby Jones has been one of the top-breakout players on the EYBL circuit this spring.
The 6-5 guard holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Xavier, Clemson, among many others. He took many visits with the only official being to Yale.
This week, he and Alabama Fusion fell short as they didn’t advance in Peach Jam. But, here’s what Jones told Stockrisers on his experience: “It was crazy. There was a lot of coaches and it was standing room only for all of our games, crazy.”
Going back to his recruitment, assuming coaches agree, his play from this week definitely helped boost his stock.
Among the schools on him hard: “I talk to Xavier, Georgia, Yale, Harvard, Iowa State pretty much every day so I have a great relationship with all the coaches,” Jones told Stockrisers.

“’ll probably cut my list down in a few weeks and I don’t have a timeline for my commitment “After I cut my list I’ll sit down and plan my visits with my final-five”
