What do you guys think of UGA and Tom Crean next year? Not going to lie, when UGA hired Crean, I was a bit envious because I liked Crean's offense, his recruiting, and thought he could provide a spark for their program. Granted they were in year one last year, but I expected more than two SEC wins. Crean's not a great coach, but I would have taken him in a heartbeat when we had Grant and Avery.

Right now they have the 3rd best recruiting class in the conference and ninth best nationally.

Any idea why Colby posted a pic of Herb when he tweeted that we offered? Are they related?

Did he hang out with him when he took a visit here?

Trendon Watford commits to Alabama in 2 days, and cements the best class in Alabama history!

I'm terrible at twittering. But, judging by how all the recruits had the same graphic of Bama and Sexton for a while there when they were announcing Bama offers, I have to think they are given photos to share somehow in the offer package.

Would not be class in history. Wimp and CM had some good ones. Even Gottfried had a good one or two. Maybe best in a while though.

I think the jury is still out on Crean. UGA showed some fight towards the end of last year so we'll see if they are on an upward trajectory or if that was just the death throes of a dying program. UGA has been mediocre to bad for most of my adult life They had a few years under Hugh Durham where they were in the top half of the league and a tough out, but hardly ever a threat to win the conference. Crean has recruited well but I've heard that before about the Bulldogs. They never seem to be able to put it all together and before Pearl arrived in east Alabama, I would have said that Auburn is the only thing keeping UGA from being a perennial cellar dweller. It doesn't make sense with Atlanta and the Carolinas right there for recruiting but Georgia just isn't a good basketball school. Can Crean change that? I'm not sure he can. I thought Fox was a good hire and he failed miserably. This season will tell us a lot about his potential in Athens.

Not that this means anything, it may or may not (probably not), but Coach Oats and Coach Hodgson both liked Trendon’s countdown tweet from today

They're probably happy its almost over as well.

ce1976 always has good info/opinions on BOL. He said this about Trendon:

“If I had a crystal ball pick, it would move from LSU to foggy. I think he his going to pick Alabama.”

I’m still not getting my hopes up, but I haven’t given up completely yet. My prediction is still LSU, but I guess maybe he could surprise us and stay home

Would love to have him but unless he just wants to “shock” people, the signs just don’t point to the good guys

I cant watch NBA. Lebron ruined it when he started the orchestrated superteam trend.

He started something Paul Pierce, Keving Garnett and Ray Allen discussed and completed years prior.

Gotcha.
