Hearing that Alabama, Oregon, and Pittsburgh have a lot of interest in Quinerly, a source told @Stockrisers. Alabama met with JQ’s parents this weekend.

I am so happy that we got Bolden. We really could've used another ball-handler on last years team. Our secondary options at PG were AJJR and Herb Jones, not exactly ideal.

I won't be surprised at all if Bolden is our leading scorer this year, he will be one of them for sure.

Quinerly is a monster. He didn't fit in at Villanova, but this will be a second chance under a coach who will put him in great positions.

I’d say Villanova is a good example of the kind of system Nate Oats is trying to build here. That’s not to say I don’t think he’s talented, Wright just doesn’t play freshman much. If he would have stayed I think Quinerly would have fit in fine. It may be a good thing for us that he didn’t though.

Some comments Watford made at the Jordan brand game:

Alabama: "It was a good visit. I was able to get down there and watch (Oats) coach in their workouts and stuff. It was good to be able to see a new coach and he's different from coach Avery (Johnson). I would say his offense is a little different, he likes to play fast and that's how I like to play."

LSU: "You know coach Wade has making me strong arse offers ever since he got the job. Also coach (Bill) Armstrong has been recruiting me very hard so I have a close relationship with him. But ever since (Wade) got reinstated he's been in contact with me a lot and we are going from there.

Memphis: "James Wiseman has been working me really hard. He works me every week. Also D.J. Jeffries is here and being able to play with him is good. I played with him last week too at the Jack Jones Classic in Memphis. I would say they are on me pretty hard."

I'm not a big Quinerly fan. Averaged 3 points a game in 10 minutes a game. Didn't score over 10 points in a game all season, and had a few games where he played 20+ minutes. Shot 25% from three. Seems like a bust to me. It's not like Villanova doesn't run an offense friendly style of play either.

You reckon??
When you got a 17 year old #2 guard bringing it up, you got a BIG problem.
