One of our backup plan recruits will be off the board this week. Can’t post who but it isn’t a big loss as long as we get our main priorities.

Meh. Watford left for the money, and Colby left because Xavier is a very good basketball school and he received very passive interest from us and probably didn’t have a legit offer from us to actually commit to . Hard to blame MB or Bucky for either of those situations.

I believe I’m more excited about this upcoming season that I’ve ever been about Bama basketball. A trio of 5-Stars in the backcourt (Kira Lewis, Jahvon Quinerly, John Petty) could be very special. Alabama normally doesn’t have talent like that all at once. Could be a special group.

I've gotten to the point that I dislike all sports radio. It's either a shitfest like finebaum, or a couple of bubbas mumbling unresearched opinions. It's still all I listen to when I'm driving. I either have on a sports talk show, or the radio is off. I need to start listening to music.
Anyway, bring on basketball season.

Also Daishen Nix just set his official visit to Alabama! Him and Nimari Burnett will be on campus together, I believe those are the top 2 targets in this class and would be huge pickups!! Daishen a legit 1 and done.

That's the kind of take you get from someone who thinks all college sports recruiting is like football. Yeah, if you regularly have 25 open roster spots you'd do all you can to sign a player like that from your own backyard. When you have 2 open roster spots that changes things.
