If we start winning some games, making the Dance and playing exciting basketball, we'll be more than just a hat on the table. Patience, grashopper!

I think we are gonna get Nimari. I’m guessing him, Colby Jones, and 1 other player

What positions are we targeting? How many are we going to take? Seems to me like we need at least one ball handler and another 2 guard.

My guess is if we go for 2, our ideal (and somewhat realistic) scenarios are (in order)...

1. Nimari Burnett, Jay Scrubb
2. Nimari Burnett, Deivon Smith
3. Nimari Burnett, Colby Jones

Beauchamp forgoing college hurt us bad. I’d say we led for him based off of comments he’s made about us since his offer. Obviously, Nix would be an amazing fit for this offense, and he’d be my favorite of the guys we’ve gone after. He’s the top PG in the class and is going to be an amazing college PG with his decision-making and elite level passing ability, but for those reasons he is one of the most coveted players in this class. Would love to be wrong here, but I don’t see much of a shot with him.

I would really like to pull Earl Timberlake, but something tells me we won't.

Rongie Gordon is one of the most underrated players in the class and from Alabama. I think we would take him over Colby Jones if possible.

6'8 G/F who is a good shooter but also can has a good inside game. Ranked the 133 player in this class right now, but should be in the top 70 imo. I'd bet he will be in the top 100 before its over with.

Rongie Gordon highlights

@CrimsonXover posted that Burnett cuts his list to 5 schools on August 12th and Alabama is expected to be among them. He's visiting Tuscaloosa Sept 27th

Will be huge is we land him, would be out highest ranked signee since Sexton, unless you count Quinerly. The current assumption out there lately is that we lead for him.

He and Quinerly would be incredible together.

Not sure if anybody else has seen the Netflix series "Basketball or Nothing" about the Navajo high school basketball team in Chinle, Arizona. They have a player, Cooper Burbank, that's a special player. Would love to see Oats go after him. He is considered one of the top prep players in Arizona.

I’m sure the Netflix show made him look glamorous, but he doesn’t even have a 247 profile as a senior, and nothing about his game that I saw in his highlights looks like it will translate to the next level. He’s got a slow release and seems to have a knack for scoring his points off of put backs which as a “6’2” (no way he’s that tall) guard won’t translate to college which will have length he’s never seen at the HS prep level.

Josh Hall, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Alabama Crimson Tide.

This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned how he expects new coach Nate Oats to be active on the youngster’s recruitment trail despite getting to it a bit late.

Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Josh Hall pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 class.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been insanely active on the recruiting trail. Only time will tell if they can land any of the many high-caliber recruits they’ve been targeting.
