Wow. Feels good to know Petty can have a terrible offensive game, a top 25ish team can go off on us in the 1st half and hit three consecutive 3pt prayers at the end of the game, and we can still win the game.

I have to admit, UTA is legit. They had a ridiculously efficient 1st half and have an incredible duo that makes them hard to stop. Double or help on Hervey, and Neal will make you pay with his ball distribution.

Despite looking lackluster at times, it's promising to see how resilient the team is. They've overcome adversity multiple times and shown to get out of offensive lulls.

I really wish we had Bola back for one more year. Being able to dominate the boards was really great last year.

Yeah- their ball movement is incredible. Granted, when you have an experienced team that has that kind of chemistry, you're supposed to look fluid on offense. But that is a dangerous team come March.

Watching back the game.....Riley looks a little Fat. May take him a couple weeks to trim back up.

Here's the really impressive thing - through 4 games, our ball movement looks the best I remember since Wimp's days. There was a pass in the paint to Hall for a dunk last night that made my jaw drop and at the time he was the only returning player on the floor.

If our guys continue to grow, they won't be the only really dangerous team come March.

how bad would we have all melted if that final shot (AFTER THE TRAVEL) would have gone in?

If you're thinking of the same pass, that was from Avery Jr. Shout out to him by the way. I had given him a lot of shite, and he shut me up with the way he played last night in limited minutes.

To me that's what is also impressive. When we landed our freshman class, we knew we would want to pickup the tempo, but most of us expected the returning players to have to have some time to adjust. Through these first four games, the returning players have looked like they've been doing this fast-paced offense their entire careers.

Having Sexton allows everyone else to be who they are, role players. They don't have to worry about who's night is it to get 20 or 30 because the Young Bull will get it for us every night. All they have to do is do their jobs.

No, it wasn't AJ (who did play great). I was watching with the sound down while I helped my daughter with homework so I didn't hear the call but I think it was Petty. All I can say for sure was it was one of our guys with the Sideshow Bob hair style. He drive from the top of the key, the defense collapsed on him, he went up and I knew he was going to take a crazy terrible shot. Instead he calmly dumped a low pass between defenders right to Hall who slammed it.

My melt wouldn't have been too bad. I'd already pre-melted when we gave up the three and promptly turned the ball right back over.

He was bought for $100,000.

Unless the NCAA gives blanket immunity to all the players involved in this mess, he will never play college basketball anywhere.

Watching Purdue-Tennessee. How long has Haas been at Purdue? I remember wanting him when Grant was here.

best part of the Aub hoops thread is their fans completely ignoring the part where their president says he knows things nobody else does. According to them, the University is being so unfair to the program/pearl.

the second best part is them saying they should just play the players (who cares about violations) and then in the football iron bowl thread calling us cheaters.

We didn't give up any 3 of those consecutive threes. Those were straight answered prayers. Also that was the quickest 5 seconds I've ever seen.
