Kentucky lost at South Carolina. If Bama wins tomorrow, we’ll be tied for 2nd in the SEC

Auburn has 3 points shooters all over the place. I'm hoping we finally figured out how to cover that area or we are gonna have to have Levi shoot lights out again.

I don’t have much hope about tonight. Auburn is playing well and us...not so much. Anything can happen on the road in the SEC and I would love the upset but we’re outclassed on the floor and on the bench. It pains me to say that but I put away my Crimson colored glasses a long time ago. I’m just hoping and waiting to see Bruce bail on their shithole program.

If Bruce can hang a 100 on Bama then he will and you can bet he will bring up Avery's comments about having 10 wins at that point in the year as well.

We'll see. Roll Tide

Maybe you haven't watched the past few games, but Levi Randolph left a little while ago.

I assume you meant someone else.

Not sure why you'd think this. Auburn put in walkons late in last year's game

The 3FG that is motivation was a walkon. I'd hope that Avery green lights Schaeffer in that situation too.

You clearly don't ever listen to anything Bruce says. Bruce pushes the "high tide floats all boats" agenda and is extremely complimentary of Avery, Bama and that it's best for both teams to be good

In his interview on Finebaum yesterday, Bruce straight up talked about how great it is that Bama + AU is getting better and he wants this to be a nationally televised game.

He's probably referring to the 2015 season when in both games Levi Randolph went bananas, put the team on his back Greg Jennings style.

I remember in one game, he scored some 50% of Alabama's points and single handily won the game

Good luck tonight Gene! Hopefully we can make it a great game?

Just to let you know if interested, Brophy is currently leading the state in 6A. Haven't seen them yet, but will soon.

That probably makes more sense. I just assumed his brain renamed a current player an old player.

I'd love to see this team get on a roll and start living up to (my reasonable) expectations. My confidence level in Avery has taken a hit, but he could regain some of that by reeling off a few W's in a row. Beating AU tonight would be step 1.

If we beat AU tonight, we’re looking pretty good:

-12-6 (4-2)
-Tied for 2nd in the SEC
-2 wins over ranked teams
-Win over Auburn
-RPI would jump to around 29
-3 game winning streak
-Won 2 games in a row against good opponents without Hall

I hope so. Going to be interesting to see what type of crowd shows up to this given the weather

I saw that, it is pretty nuts what Hooten has done with that team. We were awful when I was in school

How's Phoenix metro treating you? I'm hoping the wife & I cn make it out in March this year

Btw, I read yesterday that this team is the least experienced team in Bama basketball history. They’re ranked 348/351 in experience. Without Donta Hall, we are 351/351.

I saw one of the Auburn fans on twitter say he wasn’t gonna be able to make the game due to ice. Idk if he was joking or serious but he said that’s 30 seats that will be empty now bc I guess his group can’t make it

I'd say that minutes continuity is a bigger deal than experience.... which Alabama is still ~#250 nationally

People see Duke/UK and think "Oh you can win if your FR are just talented enough" but never realize that isn't real for any other school

I imagine that is going to be common.

I could see above avg student attendance (what else would they do?) but I imagine that most of the non student attendance I can't imagine will show up

So, I feel Barn is going to kick our arse tonight.

Doesn't work like this. You have to actually believe we suck. You can't fool the basketball Gods

Obviously you're hoping for that as an AU fan, but I just drove to work in Hoover and the roads were great, as good as any other day. Heard this morning that the trip from Bham to Tuscaloosa was good to go as well. So I think it'll be a solid crowd.
