All class years are in terms of next season

Running backs:

TJ Yeldon, JR
Kenyan Drake, JR
Derrick Henry, SO
Altee Tenpenney, SO

Will be four deep with the same set we have now (minus Fowler if you still consider him an RB). That hasn't happened in quite some time, as we usually rotate out the top back (Ingram, TRich, Lacy)

O-line:
LT: if CK leaves (not for certain, he has dropped a lot this year in draft projections) then we have
Grant Hill, SO
LG: Arie Kouandjio, JR
C: Ryan Kelly, JR or Chad Lindsay, SR
RG: lose Anthony Steen, replace with Alphonse Taylor, SO
RT: Austin Shepherd, SR

WR: Lose Norwood and Bell, still have
Amari Cooper, JR
DeAndrew White, JR
Chris Black, SO
Christion Jones, JR

TE: Brian Vogler, SR
OJ Howard, SO

QB: Lose AJ, anyone's guess who takes over

Defense: Only lose, CJ Mosley (big loss but Alabama is stacked with LB's), Ed Stinson, Deion Belue, Nick Perry as starters. One from each level essentially. Not nearly as bad as losing an entire D-line, both corners, two safeties, or 2-3 linebackers.

That leaves us with Vinnie and HaHa in senior seasons in the backfield. Along with Landon Collins as a Junior, the backfield won't miss a beat.

Eddie Jackson as a SO, Cyrus Jones as a JR, Sylve as a JR on the corners.

Trey DePriest, Dickson, and Hubbard all as Seniors for the LBs. Combined with Devall, Foster, Dillon Lee, and Reggie Ragland on the two deep, it's insanely talented in the LBs.

Dline has Ivory and Pagan as seniors, and the emergence of A'Shawn Robinson this year, the Dline could also be monstrous.

In conclusion, Bama NEEDS to find an identity at QB in the offseason. That's essentially the one and only priority. The O-line will be seasoned, RBs seasoned, WRs deep, and the defense will be monstrous again next season.

I have been thinking about this too, we're actually in better shape than I thought.

Our last two QBs have each won the national title in their first year as a starter.

Looks like you're assuming no juniors leave early which is highly unlikely. We'll probably have 2-4 leave early. We'll still be ok but could be rebuilding some on D.

Cyrus is leaving, with Cam Robinson being an early enrollee, I think he steps right in

Looking over, I don't think any Juniors really are 1st round draft status. Certainly no one from offense besides CK, then only maybe some of the linebackers but they also don't seem to have a high draft status. I think most of them stay.

I hope you're right but I expect Cyrus and HaHa to declare and at least one out of the other guys I've seen in mock drafts: Hubbard, Pagan, DePriest. I agree that none of the last 3 have looked like an early rounder but stranger things have happened.

Cyrus and Haha are the only Jrs would might leave early.

I guess Depriest could, but that would be dumb.

HaHa is definitely going pro after the season, but Landon having the opportunity to fill in for him now helps in terms of that transition.

The loss of CJ will be huge. Not at the level of losing a 3yr starter at QB but still a major loss nonetheless. We have alot of talent behind him, but CJ is the total package of elite player + great leader + just an all-around class act. He will be a significant loss.

Hasn't been the pass rush phenom we thought he would be, but every other part of his game is top notch.

Watch him on the field. Constantly runs his mouth and never backs it up.

This is how I see it.

New QB

All RBs return unless Fowler were to go to the NFL early (doubt that) or someone transfers.

All WRs return sans Norwood and Bell.

LT - Cam Robinson
LG - Arie Kouandjio
C - Chad Lindsay
RG - Dominick Jackson
RT - Grant Hill

Bold = Returning starter, as I think Hill will be the full time RT soon this season.

All TEs return.

DL loses Stinson, but A'Shawn is here. Pagan could leave early, but I think he stays. Ivory/Lake back means we only really lose Stinson off of the DL.

Mosley is gone at LB, Hubbard could be gone, he is still considered a top two round pick by some, but I don't know if it'll be the same come January. Devall/Dickson will be back. DePriest COULD go, and while he has been underwhelming this year (I think he stays) we need him back more than anyone on defense, and it's because we've always had at least one experienced ILB come back under Saban. We could lose a lot communication wise if DePriest leaves too.

Eddie Jackson/Bradley Sylve (Unless Marlon comes here and blows everyones doors off) outside, Jarrick at Star or Money, Geno at the other. Vinnie and LC at Safety.

In theory, that means we'll only have FIVE new starters on the whole team. Well, Mandell is a Senior and he has played very well, so make that six.

Cade is a Senior too, make it seven.

So yeah, seven new starters across O, D, and ST.

He has rings. He can run his mouth to any opposing player all he wants, none of them have the rings.

Side note: Since Bama has won 3 of the last 4 and AU won the only title in that stretch that the Tide didn't win, there isn't a single player in college football today who has played on a national title team unless he was on Bama or AU at one point in his career.

Exactly my reasoning. And even if he plays against an Aubie from the 2010 team, A-Hubb has two rings.
