His fastball is both predictable and hitters are just waiting on it because his off-speed pitches are shite.
He needs to be DFA'd as soon as they get back to ATL.

As of right now, were 1.5 games away from the Mets.
We play San Fran two more times, 9/13 and 9/14.
After that we play our divisional oppnents - this is the end stretch here.
Hope we finish strong!

The Braves need a change at the closer position. Perhaps Jansen sitting and watching someone get on the job training to be his replacement in Sept would rattle his cage. IDGAF if he does lead the league in saves. He's got to be close to being the leader in blown saves as well. Sorry, I didn't look that up, but it's pathetic to watch him give up game after game. I'd rather watch a rookie attempt to save games than watching Jansen just keep throwing taters.

Finally get Albies back....and he breaks his right pinky finger sliding into 2nd...out for the remainder of regular season and could possibly return in the post season

Braves rook Elder with a complete game shut out against Nats. 1 game back of the Mets with eight to go for both teams. Really big cause it has basically reset the bullpen unless something goes haywire tomorrow. Braves have 2 more in DC, 3 at home against the Mets and then 3 in Miami. Mets basically the reverse. 2 in NY against the Marlins, 3 in Atlanta and 3 back in NY against the Nats.

Braves win, Mets down 2 going into the ninth against the Marlins but the craziest thing happened in the Mets game. With a runner on 1st and the Mets' Alonso batting with 2 outs in the 8th. The 1st base ump called 3 balks on a 35 year old vet who had never been called for a balk giving the Mets a run. Mattingly gets run and then after Alonso taps out the reliever gets run. The umps are so shady.

Still going to be extremely tough in the Mutts series having to go up against the pitching Murderers' Row. Degrom, Scherzer, and Bassitt. That is absolutely brutal for a three game series, especially with Strider injured until the playoffs. Going to have to be red-hot at the plate. And in that series and heading into the postseason, we're going to HAVE to get the Charlie Morton from the past few years instead of 2022 Morton.
