Check the record book: Ole Miss Football hasn’t been “ready” since the early 1960s. #zeroSECWestChamps

They are not ready. The chicken strips are still warm, but they are getting them cooled down.

I suspect that nationwide, the percentage of non hard lefties on college newspaper teams can't top 5%

Lives are being put at risk just to create a facade of normalcy. These are not normal times and the students are right to speak out since it’s their health on the line. We still don’t understand the long term health impact that COVID-19 has on the body.

so you want to keep it shut down for the years it will take to understand the “long term health impact” of Covid?

Idgaf, quit college if you don't want to go back. The "facade" is actually the fear and depression the media attempts to force on us. The problem with arse clowns like you is that you think your opinion and decision is THE right one. Well... it's not but the point is we all have to make our own decisions. You be a pussy and the rest of us will live our lives and figure out the long term impacts later, if necessary.

Then take online classes.. why worry about everyone else if we feel safe.. We are tired of you thinking you know what best for us. We can decide without you deciding for us. I can tell a lot of you haven't had your arse knocked out for not minding your own business and it shows

It is a liberal rag like all other student newspapers. They have a history of race baiting as well.

To the staff of the newspaper: then dont go back. Sit your arse at home and let everone else out to live normal life again. A grand total of 250 15-24 yo died from covid. That many will die in a month from a drug overdove. I LOTHE THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE.

If the newspaper staff weren't ready, then why did they go back?

The Daily Mississippian has been a joke for a very long time. Always completely disconnected from the student body. Pay no mind to this rag.
