You can credit your beloved liberal leaders and their wallet crippling policies for the crumbling infrastructure, people shitting in the streets, an outrageous cost of living, high tax rates and accounting for nearly half the US homeless population. GDP is measured by the state's economic output based on its overall population. Nice try comparing a state with 39 million residents to a state with less than 3 million.

California's GDP per capita is almost double that of Mississippi's. This isn't about size. It is about CAPITALIST PRODUCTIVITY. California has it. Mississippi doesn't. Pretty simple.
