Crying about taxes is something working and middle class people do. Rich folks don't pay taxes and among those few that do they have accountants that understand how progressive tax systems actually work and that rates don't apply to the entirety of your income. They also know that carrying a huge mortgage can be a huge tax write off. You can also bet your arse that if most of us had the opportunity to own a home like that we'd take it in a heart beat.
