Steve Spurrier Hasn't Stopped Calling Tim Tebow About Playing In AAF

Orlando Apollos head coach Steve Spurrier was asked this week if his old buddy Tim Tebow will ever play in the new AAF league...

“No,” Spurrier said when asked if there was an update on Tebow. “And I don’t blame Tim. Tim’s got a chance to go to Major League Baseball. I think he starts in the Triple A this year. I think Tim’s probably headed in the baseball direction right now, and I certainly don’t blame him. I think if I was in his situation, I might do the same thing.”
Tim talked a little about it at Mets spring training. Per USA Today...
