Johnny Manziel Reveals He's Currenty Trying To Play Another Professional Sport
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Johnny Manziel is in his third football league and most likely his last one. The former Heisman Trophy winner revealed he's actually going to dedicate himself to trying to play pro golf...
quote:

“I’m giving myself 12 years to try to play professional golf,” Manziel told podcaster Chris Long on the Green Light podcast. “I’m gonna grind this out and see how good I can get and see if I can’t enter some tournaments and see if I can’t go play professional golf eventually. I think it is a very uphill battle, but that’s what I’m setting for my goals. I have 12 years to try and make a PGA Tour event.”

Golf companies pay pretty good for endorsers. JFF wants some of that Paige money.

Based on that vid, he is closer to getting his PGA card than I am. Good luck to him.

Nice swing. It’s amazing how world class athletes take well to golf, for the most part. That being said, the gap between professional and aspiring pro golfers is considerably larger than professional football players and aspiring pros. One of the toughest games to master. Best of luck.

12 years? Why not 30 years? That way he can get a Social Security check when he’s failed at this. Some people never want to get a real job.

Why would anyone “want” to get a real job?
