The CFL will not be a good thing for Manziel. The field dimensions essentially enable his bad habits, and if (big IF) he makes it back to the NFL will impair his transition back to the NFL game. CFL fields are about 10 yards wider than the NFL which allows Manziel to prolong his rollout scrambles. The result is that he can be "lazier" with his reads and progressions. NFL fields will seem tight and confined after playing in the CFL for too long.
