On Wednesday, Johnny Manziel announced in a statement to Bleacher Report that he has signed with the Spring League this year...
quote:

“Football has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Sometimes you take for granted how much you value something until it’s gone. My goal is to make it back to the NFL and I realize I have to earn that privilege,” Manziel said. “The Spring League has provided me with a great opportunity to play ball again, and ultimately, that is all I want to do. I miss the competition. I’d like to thank Brian Woods and The Spring League staff for this opportunity to play the game I love. I’ve made my share of mistakes, but I’m 25 years old and I know my best football is ahead of me.”
Good luck, Johnny.

Johnny’s story is playing out like Billy Madison, going back to prove himself at the risk of losing daddy’s money. I hope we get to see Johnny in a decathalon with Baker Mayfield.

Is Mike Evans going to be his go to receiver? If not, well, then he prolly don't make the grade.

Id like to announce that I'm joining the national pro flag football league. At 35 I feel my best football is ahead of me and I'm looking forward to showing the scouts what I can do.

He'll be in a league with a bunch of guys hungry to get to the next level. He needs to actually commit to something. I feel he'll try to big league this, and not go anywhere.

Las Vegas Raiders would be a solid fit.

He'd do better in Miami where the cocaine is cheap.
