This was interesting. In James Harrison's Sunday debut with the New England Patriots after getting released by the Steelers this week, he stood alone on the sidelines during the National Anthem...

Hmm...wonder what's that about.

Did he not pass the initiation ritual?

It was his first game with the Patriots. There is really nothing to do this. He had 2 sacks in the game.

Standing with your wrists crossed is being respectful to the Anthem, no different than standing with your hand on your heart (This is the Anthem not the Pledge).

Wrong! NFL rules state a player should stand and put his right hand his heart. USAF!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

This wasn’t a protest. I’m pretty sure he was pretty vocal last year when Kap started this shite that he would kick anyone’s arse on the Steelers that knelt.

Who cares what NFL players do? Just play the game you are highly paid to do.

It’s funny how the “F the kneelers!!!” crowd is jumping down his throat. He could easily just be a new guy and veteran on a team where he didn’t know where to stand. We’ve all had those moments in our lives where we’re focused on other things and just brain fart in the moment, ending up out of place or position.

He is the oldest defensive player in the game. You think he just didn't know where to stand? Come on man

I’m a “f the kneelers” crowd but don’t see anything wrong with this. New team, first game.

Yeah you're right he's protesting the anthem by standing at attention with his new team. I just find it funny that people complain about the politics in their sports, yet find a way to inject it in any scenario they see fit.

He's just collecting his thoughts of how he's going to get to the QB

In other news, Bill Belicheck loves strawberries. Brady doesn't. Is this the end of the champion's run???!!!

I see where Belichick installed thermometers in the Bill's tunnel yesterday just to let the Bills know how cold it was yesterday. lol
