Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports
Former NFL star of the Saints and Eagles, Darren Sproles, will straight up tell you he think he's a Hall of Famer. Do you agree?

He sure did make the most of his ability though. Not every player can say that.

He's a great player but no hall of famer. This fool needs to quit smoking

Until Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens are in Cooperstown, all HOF inductions in any sport are a joke.

The comments in here are shocking! Not even close? Darren Sproles is 5th all time in the history of the league in All-Purpose Yards...5th. Behind only Jerry Rice, Brian Mitchell, Emmitt Smith, and Walter Peyton. He has more yards than guys like Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk, LT, and AP. Was he a pure RB? No! Was he a guy that at any given time was going to change the game rushing, receiving, or returning? Yes, every Sunday. A top 5 player in the history of the NFL in all-purpose yards belongs in the HOF in my opinion.

No. Like I get the he's an purpose guy argument and all of that, but he's basically a slightly better version of Kevin Faulk.

He was never the best running back on any team he was on, this is insanity.

The player he created must be really good on Madden is all I can think.

I'd say he's 50/50 at best. For the Saints HoF, that is.

Not even in the conversation of HoF!

No but he will probably make the short list

He only has about 3,500 rushing yards for his career and never sniffed at a 1,000 season even playing 16 game seasons. He is not in the same conversation as the all-time greats.

No way. HOF has been "watered" down with players like this being inducted. Good player.....but NO!

barking for your own induction is pathetic. Dude was really good, not all time.

I haven’t looked at the stats, but I feel confident in saying he’s a top 50 RB of all time, and when you consider how dynamic he was (rushing, receiving, special teams) it’s at minimum a debate. He’s one of my favorite players ever. I became a fan of his when he was at KSU. My biased vote is a YES.
