I was a no weed guy until opioid addiction hit home with my wife and her chronic pain. Weed works, and her being off the opioids is a godsend. I've really had to open my mind to the weed issue.

he's not totally wrong. Opioids are terrible drugs. Marijuanna if used correctly has far less long term side effects

100% agree. But at the end of the day, he walked away from a six (possibly seven) figure income to smoke weed. No amount of “he has a point” can overshadow that.

And another point to make is the self medicating is the result of the pain from injuries sustained playing a violent contact sport.
