Contracts in the professional world don't mean anything, except money, anymore! If a person gets tired of a team, they demand a trade or threaten to sit out. If a team gets tired of a player, they will cut your butt (and you get your money) faster than anyone or trade you. Good for Mahomes for getting paid but saying he will be there for 10 more years is a guess.... contract doesn't guarantee that these days
