Bo Jackson Says He'd Rush For '350-400 Yards A Game' If He Played In Today's NFL
by Larry LeoOctober 26, 2020

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports
Former NFL and MLB star, Bo Jackson, appeared on Monday's 21st and Prime, giving his thoughts on both leagues. During that discussion he said he thinks he could rush for 350-400 yards a game if he played in today's NFL. Bo knows...

“When was the last time you watched a baseball game and saw a baseball game to where everybody is doing the basics? When was the last time you saw a hit-and-run? Everybody is swinging for the fence now. You either hit it out the park or strike out. Nobody practices base stealing, nobody practices hit-and-runs, hitting the cutoff man and so forth and so on and in football I’ll say the same thing. Nobody wraps up and tackles no more…If I played during this era I’d probably be averaging 350-400 yards a game.”

Wow I didn't know he was better than Derrick Henry today. Wow that is impressive for a man that old. No need to even have a QB either

The old Bo Jackson would leave a Derrick Henry eating his dust!! Lol Dude wasn't as tall as Henry, but he weighed as much as Henry with a sprinter's speed.

Yea he was referring to the 57 year old version of himself. Not the Heisman, first overall pick, and MLB all star version.

The talent is way better now top to bottoms. Players don’t get less athletic or weaker. The evolution of sports is crazy. Just look at the average size of lineman back then and now. Lamar jackson would run for 200 yds a game 25 years ago. C’mon now

Talent is way better but teams are more built to stop the pass. I don't think Bo would average 300+/game, but he would still dominate
