Dan needed to do a better job getting tribal leaders of communities to take the stand and defend the Tradition and Redskins name in the media and it would have cooled the woke mob at the time. The franchise had a golden opportunity to re-brand as the Washington Sentinels from The Replacements, complete with the same logos, colors, and cheerleader outfits. Training camp attendance would be record-breaking.
