See Larry, a real journalist puts these "hot takes" out there in hopes that some ignoramus comes back six years later and reposts his outlandish prediction about what a 20 year old kid is going to do with his career after money and fam and catapults his (otherwise forgotten ) self right back into the headlines. I hate Skip... but it is not his fault, he is just playing the game. I really can't stand the fools who fall for this nonsense and keep him relevant.

Stuff like this is why I don’t make political and health decisions based on crap said by athletes/celebs.

He's neither an athlete or celebrity. He's more like Alex Jones or Hannity.

He guaranteed Oklahoma would run all over LSU in the 2003 BCS championship game and that Tim Tebow was the next Brett Favre. He's wrong quite a bit.

Ok... is there any accountability or reprimand from the purposely wrong hot take?

This is fine for sports but the sad thing is we have journalists and politicians postulating in the same manner about serious subjects (I don't know ... like the coronavirus?) and people buy them hook, line and sinker.

Don't worry. I'm sure conscientious voters will hold any reckless politician who claimed that corona was "under control" or that the Chinese government was being "transparent" or that it would "miraculously go away" by April accountable at the ballot box.

Skip is an entertainer. He's got faux journalists posting about something he said 6 years ago. sounds like a success.
