Welcome to 6-6 seasons USC. I guess that would be an improvement.

He only took the job because he knows Will Stout will win him some games with his hype videos.

They always put out the red carpet for me when I fly charter. Heck down in Gulfport they rolled it out when I pulled up in a crate of a 1978 C172

I've been to a couple of USC games back in the Leinert/Bush days. One of which was USC/ND - a notoriously huge game for both teams. Their game day atmosphere is depressing as hell. The ND fans absolutely owned that campus pre-game. Typical of everything Southern Cali -- fake, expensive, and over rated. There is nothing Riley can do to change that.

"Their game day atmosphere is depressing as hell" It's actually a lot of fun. Following the band from the campus to the stadium is classic

“Following the band from the campus to the stadium is classic”? Jesus, I can only imagine how exciting that was for you. How would one come down from that sort of rush? Watch an episode of the fricking golden girls?

I’ll give you this about the band. My BIL and I were watching the band March by… we were right on the curb, ready to cross the street after the band passed. BIL had just opened a can of beer and was literally mid-first swig. A Saxophone player reaches over, grabs the beer and downs it, without ever missing a step in formation. Tosses the empty can high into the air behind him and a cymbal player many rows back smacks it away with a cymbal. True story.

Bottom line, he was pissed he wasn’t consulted about the move to the SEC. Didn’t want to compete in the SEC. No problem. Just not a competitor.
