Old logo is better, but I'm definitely relieved they kept the same style of midfield logo. Your post title had me worried.

who remembers when those guys thought they beat LSU in the 1999 Regional in baseball? Cockiest fans of a no-name school I've ever seen. Even their newspaper printed a paper that they had defeated LSU. And then LSU came back and won, and sent those pirates back to the no-name-ville from whence they came. ECU LOSERS!

They are extremely cocky fans. I lived in Greenville, NC for a year and they most certainly have inflated egos about that school and their football team...but they did produce Sandra Bullock, so there's that.
