Oklahoma Posts Funny Tweet About No 'Horns Down' For This Weekend's Game

Only in Austin Texas would a simple mocking hand gesture make people offended.

I occasionally see a few TX fans here in central FL. When they see my LSU cap, they give me the horns. I go horns down and say BBQ.

WHy is "horns down" such a derogatory thing? Are people really offended by this?

I will never understand why this is such a big deal. Texas football fans are seriously soft and thin skinned.

Why is "Horns Down" a big deal? I thought you were supposed to disrespect your opponent. What's next? "Only beat them by 3. To score any more than that would be disrespectful and hurt their feelings."

That girl epitomizes what an Oklahoma chick would look like from the clothes, hair, sunglasses, demeanor, etc.

The fact that one school is allowed to make the gesture and another school is not allowed to make the same exact gesture just oppo is mind boggling.

LSU used it all up when we went into Austin and left with a win. I lost count of how many horns down we did. It was awesome. At this point in the season, we’ve watered down the gravity of it being “FU”. :)
