Ya'll are funny. Bunch of kids get probably a $1000 endorsement deal per kid with a BBQ joint and it is the end of college sports. Everyone can make money off of them except themselves, is that right? Any of you idiots who say they get free college, room and board, need to move away from 1972. This is a multi-billion dollar industry, has been for a long time and it is only getting bigger. Heaven forbid the people who actually make it happen get a deal with the BBQ shop, Walk-Ons or Juiceland. But, but, but Nike and Under Armour will make Oregon and Maryland the best programs and California schools will run college football. No one cares about football at Maryland, no one cares about, nor pays attention to football in California. Why do you think their best players leave? As for Oregon, Nike has pumped millions into it and they still cannot get out of the Pac-whatever. No one cares about Oregon football, except Oregon football fans.
From Texas to Florida and up to Ohio and Michigan is where the people who show up, travel to, spend way too much money on and love our teams live. It is not in Maryland, it is not Oregon, and it sure the hell is not in California. We will be fine. We actually watch the games, we actually fill our stadiums, we actually know players on teams other than ours and those teams with those large, loyal fan bases are the ones that are most marketable for players. Maryland, lol.
