According to Horns247, Muschamp could return to Texas as the team’s defensive coordinator. If Muschamp does get hired, it would be his first time back at Texas since leaving to take the head coaching job at Florida in December of 2010. Muschamp was originally hired to be the Longhorns’ defensive coordinator under Mack Brown in 2008, and months after that the school announced he would replace Brown whenever he decided to retire.
