I Think Mark Richt Needs A Job After Posting 'Life doesn’t get much better than this!' Pic
Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports
Former Georgia and Miami head coach Mark Richt works for the ACC network now and is posting pics with cheese balls on the beach. Maybe time to get back into coaching?

In assessing his life he's probably including the millions he has in the bank along with the snacks.

That's what boredom does to a man

Surprised more of the multi millionaire coaches don't do the same. Go to the beach and let your accountant sort things out.

The combo of beach and cheeseballs is hard to beat

Throw in a ice chest of beer and I’m with him. Can’t be beat.

If you can have a life and be happy with retirement, cheese balls, and a beach, I can't hate on that. I hope to be as easily pleased some day (with millions in the bank, of course.)

Damn that's the life.

Did he end up living in the Miami area, or did he go back to GA?

He retired to Destin.

Ghost that doesn't look like Destin. Maybe he's vacationing in Perdido?

He was 4-4 against LSU at GA and 0-1 while at Miami. Maybe you were thinking of somebody else.

He won two SEC titles and made UGa a contender.

Richt made Georgia relevant again after 20 years. If the CFP had been in place during his tenure, he would have been in a couple of times. He did a helluva job and left Georgia in a better position than when he took over, unlike the rest of the SEC East coaches in the past decade. Happy for him.

You need to look up the definition of relevant. That guy is the definition of having a job just because you had it so long. He was never a great coach, I don't even think he was a good coach...he was just...a coach. Right up there with Les Miles. Don't hate the man, just don't think he earned much.

Mark Richt is Les Miles. Good, but not great, coach. Coached in a fertile recruiting ground so got a lot of great players, had some stellar years, but too often underachieved. Kirby had to clean it up, and has quickly elevated UGA to top 5 status.

I would rather eat cheeseballs on the beach than go to work tomorrow

If I were Mark Richt and read this article I would be laughing my arse off at the author. The dude is a multi-millionaire, has a cool pad at the beach and has a settled and happy family life. I can't imagine what the frick he needs a job for

I hope he don't fall off a swing and break his other hip.
