Have You Seen Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby's Signture?
Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports
Yes, Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby sent a cease and desist letter to ESPN yesterday. In the letter, Bowlsby states that ESPN reached out to at least one of the remaining Big 12 teams about potentially leaving the conference. Basically blaming the network for Oklahoma and Texas peacing out on them...
quote:

“It has come to my direct attention that ESPN, the current business partner of the Big 12 Conference, has taken certain actions that are intended to not only harm the Big 12 Conference but to result in financial benefits for ESPN,” Bowlsby wrote. “Setting aside ESPN’s potential involvement in the recent announcement by the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma that they intend to leave the Big 12 Conference in 2025 (as to which we reserve all legal rights), I am aware that ESPN has also been actively engaged in discussions with at least one other conference regarding that conference inducing additional members of the Big 12 Conference to leave the Big 12 Conference.”
But what's even more riveting and has the internet buzzing is Bowlsby's crazy-arse signature...

Maybe Houston, LaTech and Oral Roberts can help them out. Hopefully it leads to a few Big Power conferences with a real playoff system. Like 8, 12 or 16 teams playing it out. A real playoff is what the NFL has going on

Wasn’t sure what to expect (I mean hey, it IS Larry putting this on here) but that really is the most ridiculous signature I’ve ever seen.
