Florida State Coach Mike Norvell Turns Off Air-Conditioning In His Team's Facility
© Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports
Florida State head coach Mike Norvell turned off the facility's air conditioning to prepare the team for the 2024 season. What?!?...
quote:

“Just a little bit hard, tougher,” Norvell said, (first transcribed by On3). “That’s where we’re trying to find as many times where our team can choose hard and go and get better. I missed out on the outside, sun shining, high humidity, high heat. We might get some of that tomorrow. So, definitely just want to give them a little ramp-up.”

Was he prepping them for in case they get pulled over in Monroe LA, like Bama players and then get a pass because they didnt have AC growing up?

If your kids can't be tough with the a/c on, they sure as hell won't be tough without it.

I assume this refers to an indoor practice facility. If a player collapses, there will be lawyers.

Does FSU have an indoor arena? I didn't think so. Three out of their first four games are played at home. Why wouldn't a coach want his team to practice in a real game weather environment? You need to get out of your office more.
