Don't turn down that free ride to Stanford. It's pretty nice over in Redwood City.

Looking at the video he seems like a chip of the block. Great moves, knows how to play the position, can catch, great vision. He is going to be a player. No doubt.

If he doesn't feel the compulsion to follow Dad to Florida,he should go to Stanford. No brainer.

His sister plays soccer at A&M (I think she still does anyway). I am not sure how big of an impact that is but it probably doesn't hurt.

Rheagan will be a junior when E.J. is a freshman.

Go to Stanford. Beautiful area. Amazing school. Offense designed around the run. Play in the PAC 12 where you always have a shot to win the conference. Would be easy for me.

I still remember his daddy running all over Bama and IIRC, Emmitt Smith Sr. said after the game something like “I couldn’t believe it was that easy to run on Alabama”. I predicted Junior will end up at Florida. Why not be a legacy?

because it would be virtually impossible to live up to your father's accomplishments and you'd always be compared to him. Go somewhere else and build your own legacy.

I could see it both ways, really. What if he wants to be like his father? What if he wants to compete with his father's old numbers? He could also very well be interested in an unassociated dad career.

Legion field in 1987. Octavious Gould was suspended for Florida and Bama knew nothing about Smith. Best running back I ever saw Bama play this side of Bo.
