I am NOT withdrawing my name as the Head Coach at Bethune Cookman. The administration and the AD are forcing me out. Thank you to all that supported me and my staff through this process. Good day and God bless.

Everyone wants to be a winner until someone who knows winning tells them what it’s going to take and how far they are from it….

Wish he would come be an defensive analyst for LSU and recruiter to go with it.

Ed Reed wouldn't last a week coming back to live in Louisiana. That trash fiasco would have him quickly reminded why he don't live here anymore.

Horrible for the players and the recruits that came in this weekend. Ed had to use his own money to feed them.

Bethoone cookman is the dummy here. Ya dont accept a job that sounds like a bafoon or they will make you look like one when they refuse to do the little things to help in their financial situation. Ah juat was not meant to be for Ed Reed at Bafoon Cookman

He's right & kids will relate But He's got to smooth the edges some or it'll never be as a leader of a program.

I know he has been catching heat for this, but a part of me thinks this was a shot at the people who were hating on Deion saying he wasn't loyal to the HBCU school that gave him his first college HC job, etc.. I remember when Deion put out a video when he first got to Jackson St, he was told someone was going to be there at a certain time to mow the practice field and they were running late, from that point on Deion mowed the grass himself until he had surgery and wasn't able to. He went on a rant about how when someone tells him they will be someone at a certain time he expects them to be there at that time and that for it to get done how it should be done, he had to do it. Deion used his resources and connections to do a lot for Jackson St, not every former pro will be willing to do that. I'd say Deion probably spent more than what he made at Jackson St. Ed Reed was pretty much saying "You expect people to be loyal to HBCUs when they are not even doing the things they should be doing?".
