Back in November FOX Sports' Colin Cowherd went in on Clemson calling them a "fraud." Per CollegeSpun....
quote:

“Clemson’s a fraud. Clemson is going to get their ears boxed by whoever they play. They should have three losses, maybe four. I don’t buy into Clemson. They’re the New York Giants of college football. I don’t care what their record is. I don’t buy into them. And I had Clemson in the final four, so I should be rooting for them. I got no dog in the fight here. I think USC is the second-best team in the country and Vegas agrees.”
Well, during his post-game press conference after beating Alabama last night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney went back at Cowherd...

I took the time to read the directions on a bottle of One A Day multivitamins the other day. To my surprise, the directions said to take two capsules daily! Why call the company One A Day and then not be more up front that the proper dosage was two a day? I would assume that they would sell more product if people used them at double the rate so why not advertise the two a day dosage more openly? Maybe they think the damage to the brand will be harmed or maybe the average user takes the time to read the dosage instructions more closely than I. I could understand having some leeway for a product called "instant soup", for example because "instant" could mean different things to different people but "One A Day" is very straightforward. Go ahead and check the instructions on a bottle in your house - I'll wait.

Is "Fraud" going to become Clemson's "suspect"?

I like Dabo but there's no need for him to stoop down to bash any media. Just win, walk off with the trophy, and let Cowherd do his thing.

Big surprise he likes USC as a top 3 team. If New York City and Chicago had decent college football teams, he'd say they were tops too. As long as you're a major population center with a trendy city, ol' Colin will have your back.

Oh, and not from the South, or near the South. Miami as the exception.

Not sure why Cowherd would say this. Clemson looked legit in November, even with the Pitt loss.

Because he's a sports talk guy. They'll say anything to hear themselves speak. I find them to be among the sleaziest personalities of anybody in the media.
