This tradition is kind of cheesy, right?

Cheesy this would even be mentioned as a headline on an LSU-focused board

What else are we gonna talk about right now?

All I see here is that clemson played 0 ranked teams away from home during the regular season

That marble costs more than Virginia is worth

They need a tombstone for their 2019 Natty hopes

Need to bury the death valley nickname. How about creampuff stadium? Where division 2 teams come to play touch foosball.

LSU ended that tradition in the Natty

Well when your only play ranked opponents in the playoffs I guess it’s massive. How many tombstones alone would CEO have? Hell we’d have 7 for top ten teams just this past season.

They don't do it for home wins over Top 25 so Coach O wouldn't have 7, but he'd have 5 for sure. I thought it was only for road wins but apparently they're throwing in neutral sites as well.

They should add themselves after Joe Burreaux shoved the tombstone up their asses.

Clemson and A&M are similar in terms of being weird

Sorry but no. A&M is in a class all of their own when it comes to weird.

I guess it's sad of me to think this way...but I wish someone would troll Clemson with their own name on a tombstone with the LSU 42 Clemson 25 score on it.

That score could of been worse if CEO didn't slow the offense down in the 4th quarter.

Good Lord. A tombstone celebrating a win over a team ranked #22. L-M-F-A-O

Where's the one that says 2nd place?

LSU should have one for being a serial killer of top 10 teams this year.

Dabo and Clemson literally have the dumbest traditions in all of sports

They don't play many ranked opponents each year so that is why they can afford to do it.

Those kinds of tombstones always fall over eventually. The adhesive never holds.

Just seems like an expensive strange tradition. Your stadium is Death Valley, but yet you put the people you beat away from the stadium?

My very first thought as well. Would actually be kind of cool if it memorialized epic home wins. But they've clearly already screwed this tradition up by watering it down with away games and victories over teams that weren't even ranked in the Top-20.

They are way too successful to continue this tradition in it's current state. If they want to keep it, it needs to come down to top 5 victories only.

If they were in the SEC, I'd agree with you. I'm sure they have plenty room for 1-2 more tombstones every year, for when they make the playoff.

They play in the ACC. That graveyard would be empty if they changed it to top 5

nah. they can bury their wins all they want. that's the way it should be in Clemson, South Carolina.
