They are selling more. Was unbearable for the LSU game.

Then again the game might have had something to do with that.

They need to shorten the game so they can run a half dozen more big pharmaceutical ads

He's right. We didn't want less football; we wanted less commercials.

He speaks the truth. I’d like for the SEC schools to rebel against this rule

I'm not against this rule. College games run way too long. In all honesty they should just adapt all of the NFL rules except for the OT set up.

I find it funny when people say the games run too long. Take out all the ridiculously long commercials and it wouldn't be.

The time slot hasn’t changed. The game is shorter and the commercials are longer. Sheesh.

College is NOT the NFL. I wish more people would stop trying to make it NFL jr league.

College football has tradition and greed is screwing it up

LSU is probably going to lose out on $250,000.00 beer sales per game with this new rule. Look for beer prices to increase by 1.50 after they get the sales results from the 1st game....

The worst thing that ever happened to college football was allowing the tv companies to control it.

Why would you say that??? He is 100% correct. I have never seen so many commercials in a game - EVER. They shortened the time of the game and finish just as long as before. Commercials. That's it

What did he say that was wrong?

In the future, college football will consist of 2 hours of commercials, a coin toss, and then another hour of commercials. Then a post game show to talk about the coin toss.

I watched a game the other day and the clock kept running when they'd run outta bounds, many times...going forward. That ain't right...right?

Need more coaches to speak up about this. The women running the show now do not care about the game, only making money off it

If the clock continues to run doesn’t that mean faster games and less, not more, commercials?
Reply3 months

The time slot for games remains the same, faster game on the allowed time a lot equates to more commercials and/or commentary.

A game I watched yesterday took 3 hours on the clock to get to the end of the 3rd quarter, so no, not less, just a whole bunch more commercials.

How long before the offense starts faking injuries to stop the clock?
