NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen has had $50,000 worth of tractors stolen from his Arkansas farm...

Investigator Mark Griever of the Ashley County Sheriff’s Office says two tractors were stolen from the farm in Hamburg, about 110 miles (180 kilometers) southeast of Little Rock. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette , Pippen’s family is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Griever says Pippen owns the livestock farm with his brother.

New kid in school from Chicago, no dad, mom had new job and living with her sister, anyway, new kid brings his big city rockyroll and dance moves and skinny tie and pushes up on the preacher's daughter, who was my number 1. So you do what you do when that happens. You steal Scottie Pippen's tractors and you have yourself a chicken race on old man Wilson's land. Problem solved.

Most newspapers in the south called the Democrat are conservative papers. Until the Civil Rights Movement, most voters in the south were democrats and would be what we call conservative. Republicans would have been considered "liberal" at that time because they supported the Civil Rights Movement.

The “farm” was actually Scottie’s golf course but it stayed in such terrible shape nobody ever played and they eventually turned cows out on the fairway.
