Sorry for his loss, but hate his politics. Needs to just keep his mouth shut, coach, and stop railing against the very things in this country that has made it great and given him the opportunity to make millions. Reminds me of the privileged pro football players that I didn't watch all last year.

Pop calls it likes he sees it. Yeah it may come off harsh or dick-ish sometimes, but he is honest, genuine, and lets you know what is on his mind. The same people who are hating on him and calling him a douche are probably the same people who don't like to be called out when they do something stupid... Probably the same people who do not want their kids corrected or called out when they step out of line... Like it or not, we need more Pop's in this world.

And could it be possible that knowing your soul mate of over four decades is at home dying, may cause you to have a bad day here or there? I feel like that may be enough to cause me to be a d*ck sometimes.

Yeah, the world needs more entitled, self absorbed, arrogant leftists to call us out and correct wrongthink

Bunch of pricks. The team drama coupled with this type of devastating loss is enough to cripple a man. Wonder what the future holds for him.

Poppovich is a douchebag. The way he treats 24 year old reporters doing their job is virtually criminal.

If you can’t deal with a grizzly old coach, who is a legend by the way, maybe the 24 year old men and women shouldn’t be reporters.

Bige11---Being a d*ck for no reason when you are a "legend" is wreckless behavior and he should be called out on it.

It sadly doesn't surprise me that the conservative scum on this site are as soulless as ever. A man lost his wife and a woman died, and you get cold, snarky responses because these douche bags are still butthurt over politics. Where has the class gone? I guess the Roy Moore supporting conservatives never had it.

You just called millions of people scum and then proceed to preach about class. Typical liberal, you are.

"She was 67 and had been battling an illness for an extended period" My condolences. She's not the only one in that family who's been battling an illness.
