Charles Barkley is confident that TNT's

Charles Barkley is confident that TNT's "Inside the NBA," will never be replicated on networks like ESPN. He explained why during an appearance on Paul George's podcast...
quote:

"I don’t know if anybody ever gives it a chance, to be honest with you,” Barkley said, via Awful Announcing. “ESPN, which I love, they never give anybody a chance to get any chemistry. They’re all kind of throwing stuff at the wall, ‘Like, let’s put this group together,’ and they’ll do that for like six months to a year. And then they’re like, ‘It didn’t work.’ Well, you didn’t give it a chance to work."

“I love my TNT Sports family. My #1 priority has been and always will be our people and keeping everyone together for as long as possible,” Barkley said in a statement. "We have the most amazing people, and they are the best at what they do. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with them both on the shows we currently have and new ones we develop together in the future. This is the only place for me."

Chuck is truly what you look for in a former pro turned commentator. He always gives his unfiltered opinion. He doesn't robotically lean any one way politically or socially (like LuhBron). Some of his takes you love, some of his takes you hate. At the end of the day, you know is isn't anyone's parrot. I can appreciate that

He's correct that every single show on ESPN with a panel of experts is complete garbage.

You can't reverse engineer spontaneity or anything of quality.

I don't always agree with Charles, but I think he's a good guy. This just shows he cares about the people that he works with behind the scenes. They can all keep their jobs at TNT and not disrupt the lives of their families by forcing them to move to another city for work.

"Barkley signed a 10-year deal with TNT Sports in 2022 and is entering his 25th year with the company. In May, Barkley said he had an opt-out clause in the contract in case TNT lost NBA rights. That is incorrect, according to a person with knowledge of the contractual language. Barkley said last month his deal is worth $210 million over 10 years."

can I be that kind of "unemployed"?
