They call those pitches strikes in college, also. They need to just widen the plate, not.

Yea he was worst I’ve seen. Little league needs to quietly sit him. He seemed so nervous he called anything strike.

I don't see anything different than any other youth umpire. They're all egregiously awful. They try their best to ruin my weekend at my son's games.
