After 25-years of use, the Georgia Dome in Atlanta was imploded on Monday morning and reduced to rubble.
The Dome hosted the Atlanta Falcons, the Olympics, Super Bowls, Final Fours, and has been the home of the SEC Championship since 1994.
LSU played in five SEC title games in the Dome and won each matchup except the 2005 contest vs. Georgia. Their first trip to the Dome for the SEC Championship was in 2001 when the Tigers upset No. 2 Tennessee 31-20 to earn a trip to the Sugar Bowl.
