Auburn quarterback TJ Finley is expected to miss the LSU game on Saturday as he deals with a shoulder sprain, according to AL.com.

Finley, the former LSU quarterback from Ponchatoula, La., missed last week's game vs. Missouri and has not been able to practice this week. Robby Ashford will likely start in place of Finley.

The Auburn quarterback is expected to miss this weekend’s game against LSU, the second consecutive game he will be sidelined due to a right shoulder injury, a source told AL.com on Wednesday.

Finley is dealing with a Grade 2 AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, and it is unclear how long the injury will keep him sidelined. The junior injured his shoulder late in the first half of Auburn’s 41-12 loss to Penn State on Sept. 17, when he took off on a keeper inside the final minute of the half before being dragged down by multiple defenders.
On Wednesday, Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin said that Finely was day-to-day.

“Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin said that Finely was day-to-day.” Harsin can also accurately say that about himself as the Auburn Coach.

They are down to the 3rd string center and 3 string qb, who apprarently cannot pass much. Stuff the box with 7, make Tank and the QB runs with through that, pressure the QB and make him beat the secondary, which he cannot do.

The backup can run like the wind, but he's not the best passer.

It doesn't matter because if he did play LSU's D would have even more sacks due to his lack of speed
