LSU wide receiver Jack Bech announced Tuesday that he is entering his name into the transfer portal.

Bech caught 43 passes for 489 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman last season but dealt with injuries and less playing time this year. He finished this season with 16 receptions for 200 yards and one touchdown.

LSU has never been a TE university. Definitely not one now. We don’t use Fullbacks any more and don’t seem to use the TE for much more than blocking.

And then there is JD.

Not surprising, and I would think this negates any rumors about BT moving.
WR depth chart will be one of the strongest position groups on the team.

He was a good player. But he is dropping down the depth chart. And we have 3 really good receivers coming in from high school next year.
I kinda expected this one

Assuming Jenkins goes pro he’d be our 3rd or 4th WR… I don’t care how talented the true freshmen are we dont want to be relying on them for critical catches.

Transferring is just part of the game. No reason for fans to be salty. Good luck wherever he lands.

I really liked Bech when he was healthy and tough to the ball. Strong receivers are always useful. Wish him great success wherever he goes, and really wish he was staying.

I never understood the hype. Not fast enough for a wr and too small for a tight end.

By that logic I could say… “perfect guy… faster than most tight ends and more physical than most receivers”

That’s not what I’m saying though. He’s slower than most wrs and smaller and weaker than most TEs. Nice troll attempt

We never wanted him anyway. Unless he changes his mind and in that case he's a stud and we comin.

That is as perfect a TD response as I have seen

Poor guys last highlight is the ball doinking off his head into an INT.

Hope he finds a good landing spot not in the sec.

We’ll race bait guy… the bad part is that he and walker howard are besties.

Not race baiting. Really hoped he’d go down as a great WR for the Tigers. It’s good for my young son see someone that looks like him play the position.
