Former LSU tight end Foster Moreau has announced that he is stepping away from football to fight cancer.
Moreau revealed that during a recent routine physical with the New Orleans Saints, the medical team diagnosed him with Hodgkin lymphoma.
The 25-year-old New Orleans native spent the last four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders and is currently an NFL free agent.
The former Jesuit High School recruit played at LSU from 2015-2018 and wore No. 18 for the Tigers during his senior season. The Raiders selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Our prayers go out to Moreau as he fights this cancer.
