We thank you for contributions and time here! I hope for continued success for both of these fine men, that chose to spend part of their lives, and gave their talents to the LSU Tiger family! It’s the work of young men like these that are the worker bees of LSU football. You will always be welcomed at my tailgate! Best of luck!

People are over thinking Brooks and Monroe. 'BOTH' players feel better about positioning themselves for success and that is no longer at LSU. Not a knock of the player or LSU, just real life. Move on........GEAUX TIGAS!

Maybe both he and Brooks are feeling a little indifference toward new DC Pellini. Aranda was a much different personality.

I think Monroe is going because he is going to not see the field much and is probably making a good decision. On the other hand, Brooks is not an edge rusher in the 4-3. He is undersized. In addition, Brooks supposedly has some personal issues which he is wanting to be close to home for. I doubt either is reacting to Bo Pelini but if they are then so be it.

I don't think this has anything to do with distance or locale. He may feel more confortable there, could know a coach there that's on the staff, I'm sure he's got his reasons with the main one being immediate PT as a starter probably.

I hope it works out. I’m sure he can crack the lineup there and do well.

I agree, this makes sense. He sees he will not start this year, you eventually just wanna play football if you are putting in all the work.
