LSU head coach Ed Orgeron addressed the media on Monday and talked about the difficult playing conditions that the Tigers faced on Saturday night vs. Tennessee in Knoxville.

Orgeron compared the weather to a hurricane down on the Bayou and said they couldn't see the second half kickoff when they re-watched the game film.

Reminded me of that game against Miami back in’89 at Tiger Stadium. The rain was blowing sideways and the wind almost blew us out of the stadium. Umbrellas became projectiles and were banned from Tiger Stadium ever since. People laugh when I tell them that was the closest 42-3 game I’ve ever seen, but it was. The Tigers went up and down the field all night long, only to turn the ball over at the goal line. Miami capitalized, and won. My brother and I stayed until the very end, holding on to the railings to withstand the wind gusts and watching in disbelief as the Tigers gave that one away. We would get our revenge with a 40-3 blowout against the Canes in the 05’ Peach Bowl!
