As you can tell from Ed Orgeron's press conference transcript, he had no interest in talking about former LSU and current Texas A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis on Monday...

quote:

QUESTION: John Chavis hasn't been here in three years, but he still recruited some of these guys. Is it going to be more emotional, you think, for those guys or anything?

COACH ORGERON: No.

QUESTION: What is your history with John at all?
COACH ORGERON: None.

Perfect way to handle that...straight to the point and created no bulletin board materials at all.

Stupid questions wanting only a controversial answer where it does not exist deserve that answer. Well done Coach.

That’s the way to respond to stupid questions. On to the game plan, Coach!

Is there any bad blood between O and Chavis? I’ve never heard of anything, but I may have just missed it. Chavis was at both Tennessee and LSU right before O, I know. I assume it must stem from something around that..

Apparently how great of a coach and how awesome of a guy Chavis is, I.E. typical coach speak like the rest of the limp wristed a-hole CFB coaches these days. I personally like the fact that he brushed off such a stupid question
